About the role

Auctane's global legal team is seeking a Contracts Administrator with 3-5 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have the knowledge and experience to optimize existing workflows as well as design new processes to increase efficiency. The role will report to a Director, Senior Corporate Counsel.

**This position is located in Austin, TX and is hybrid/onsite Tues/Wed/Thurs

What will you be doing?

  • Manage the day-to-day administration and execution of contracts.
    • Provide support through all phases of the contract lifecycle, including the signing and filing process.
    • Upload and file contracts, log key data, and manage the contracts database, including proofreading and coordinating the completion of all documentation.
    • Work closely with key internal stakeholders, including the sales, business development, finance, product, engineering, and customer experience teams, on time-sensitive projects.
    • Prepare and revise contracts, NDAs, amendments, schedules and other legal documents using established templates and guidelines.
    • Analyze contract requirements, obligations, and risks to summarize and highlight issues for escalation.
    • Track contracts through the negotiation, approval, and execution process, including feedback from key stakeholders.
  • Support efforts to organize, manage, and access legal documents and records.
    • Review, update, and maintain templates, corporate forms, and online terms of service.
    • Identify, design, and implement operational processes to increase efficiency and filing consistency.
    • Assist with inquiries, requests for information, certifications and documents from our internal stakeholders as well as external parties, such as auditors, regulators, partners, customers, and vendors.
  • Perform routine and specialized administrative duties for legal and contract operations.
    • Draft, proofread, and edit correspondence and other documents.
    • Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling calls and meetings.
    • Handle additional projects and responsibilities as assigned, including projects in coordination with other functional teams.

What will make you stand out?

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3-5 years of contract administration experience, with technology, software licensing or SaaS experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience drafting, negotiating, and advising on contracts, including master services agreements, statements of work, sales orders, partner agreements, and vendor agreements.
  • Experience with international businesses, a plus.

The Tech

  • Strong working knowledge of Google Workplace tools (especially cloud document storage tools), Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Proficiency with DocuSign, Salesforce, Confluence, and contracts administration software tools.
