Job purpose
As a QMAP/Caregiver, your primary responsibility is to provide personal care and to administer medications, as prescribed and within the scope outlined in the relevant regulations, to the residents in our community. If you have not received your QMAP, please only perform caregiving duties. Once you have received your QMAP and have gone through QMAP training and had a satisfactory shadowing review by a QMAP Trainer/Coordinator, you will perform the QMAP duties as outlined in this job description. Delegated responsibility to perform duties as stated in The Community Policies and Procedures and in compliance with all relevant rules and regulations.
Schedule
Sunday-Wednesday 2-10:30pm
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Caregiving duties:
Answers call lights, assists with daily tasks, assists with teeth/dentures, grooming including shampooing, combing hair and shaving, assists with bathing, dressing and undressing residents. Assists with personal laundry, making beds and taking out trash
. Documents and charts promptly and accurately. Monitors and charts resident’s activities when they’re out of the building and when/if they are eating. Assists residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) and charts accurately. Uses Yardi platform regularly and ensures professionalism while charting (reporting facts, not opinions)
QMAP duties
. Adheres to the QMAP Scope and Standards for practice in Colorado Qualifications and Experience
Working conditions:
May be exposed to infectious waste, diseases, conditions, etc. Please wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to meet physical demands of lifting and moving over 50 pounds, sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, reach, and move intermittently during working hours. Moving at a high pace for long periods of time.
