IT Calibration Technician Pharma (Lawrence, NJ)

We are looking for an IT calibration Technician for our client, a Global Biopharmaceutical Company. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and precision of IT equipment used in pharmaceutical manufacturing processes. This role is critical in maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and ensuring the reliability of IT systems within our manufacturing environment.

This is a 40-hour per-week, 12-month contract, onsite role in Lawrence, NJ (The candidate must be able to work onsite 5 days a week).

This is a W2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and 401K are offered.

Responsibilities:

• Perform calibration, qualification, and validation activities for IT equipment including but not limited to computers, servers, network devices, and software systems.

• Develop and execute calibration protocols following regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry best practices.

• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance of IT equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to IT equipment calibration, collaborating with IT and engineering teams as necessary.

• Maintain accurate records of calibration activities, including calibration schedules, procedures, and documentation of results.

• Participate in internal and external audits, providing documentation and support as needed to demonstrate compliance with regulatory standards.

• Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements relevant to IT calibration in pharmaceutical manufacturing.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains in IT calibration processes.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT calibration or a similar role within a regulated industry, preferably pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements governing IT calibration in pharmaceutical manufacturing, including FDA regulations (e.g., 21 CFR Part 11).
• Proficiency in calibration methodologies, tools, and techniques, with the ability to develop and execute calibration protocols.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Certifications such as Certified Calibration Technician (CCT) or Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET) are preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
