Staffworks is Hiring a Machinist 2nd shift Near Windsor, CT
Our client is an industry leader in military turbine engine component repair, overhaul and modification services. With nearly 200 employees, they are continuing to grow and have multiple openings.
They are currently seeking a 2nd Shift Vane Grinding Machinist .
Pay Rate : $24.00 - $29.00

Responsibilities :
- Make necessary modifications or adjustments.
- Read and understand blueprints and operations sheets.
- Ability to verify dimensions using standard measuring instruments, such as micrometers, depth gages, height gages and verniers
- Follow all safety requirements regarding machine operation including proper guarding.
Qualifications :
- Experience in manufacturing or aerospace.
- 3 years operating 4 axis grinding machine is desired.
- Mechanically inclined and good math skills.
Schedule :
2nd Shift : 3 : 30 PM - 12 : 00 AM
Pay Rate : $24.00 - $29.00
