Schedule : 6 : 00am 2 : 30pm
Pay : $18 / hr.
Chemical Operator job details :
- Follow SOPs for computer controlled automatic batch building and manual batch building.
- Assist in the production of waterborne and solvent borne finishes, sealers, stains, and maintenance products.
- Identify and correct equipment problems by performing standard trouble-shooting techniques and perform scheduled maintenance using hand, power, and specialty tools as necessary.
- Maintain raw material levels (totes & dispersion tanks).
- Use floor scales and bench scales to weigh out raw materials.
- Drive a forklift to move pallets and totes to / from designated areas.
- Perform preventative maintenance on pumps, valves, mixers, tanks as directed by the Production Assistant Manager or machine software / manuals.
- Enter raw material amounts and rework amounts for batches into the inventory system.
Qualified candidates will have two years of chemical mixing and forklift experience.
