Pay Rate: $37,440 - $49,920 (Depending on experience.)

As the Safety Coordinator, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being of all employees within the plastic pipe manufacturing plant. Responsibilities include developing, implementing, and maintaining safety programs, conducting regular inspections, and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations. Collaborating closely with management and staff, you'll foster a safety-centric culture aimed at preventing workplace accidents and injuries.
Requirements:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills for directing activities, communicating policies, training employees, and preparing reports
• Direct experience with incident investigations and familiarity with OSHA 300, 300-A, 301 logs
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and manufacturing safety best practices
• Preferably experienced in continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, OSHA 10 General Industry, Six Sigma, etc.)
• Interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate others, fostering a climate of empowerment, ownership, and collaboration
• Excellent computer skills and proficiency in MS Office
