Staffing Solutions is Hiring a Machine Maintenance Mechanic Near El Monte, CA
We have an immediate need of Machine Maintenance Mechanic for our manufacturing company located in the city of El Monte, CA. Company is a leader in manufacturing and producing a variety of springs, coils, wire forms for commercial aerospace, energy and mining and other industries.

Schedule: Monday - Friday.
Hours: Full-time 6am-2:30pm. (possible overtime)
Pay: $23-29 based on experience.
Position Overview:
Maintain facility equipment and perform scheduled preventive maintenance. Troubleshoot and repair facility’s various industrial equipment and perform building maintenance as assigned. Communicate with management on production equipment needs to minimized downtime. Having Controls Programming for Coil Machines or PLC knowledge Experience is a BIG PLUS!!!!
Primary Job Functions:
- Maintaining industrial equipment and troubleshooting machinery.
- Complete tear-down and repair of industrial equipment, motors, pumps, etc.
- Performing routine preventative maintenance.
- Be able to read, interpret and follow operation and repair manuals.
- Cleaning, repairing, and installing equipment and parts as needed.
- Performing general maintenance work on buildings as assigned.
- Communicating with the production team and maintaining a clean work area.
- Assure that all safety rules are followed, and safety equipment is used and properly maintained. Report violations to the safety committee.
Secondary Job Functions:
- Participate in team meetings/projects.
- Participate in 6S activities & Continuous Improvements activities.
- Participate in internal auditing system as required by quality management system.
Requirements
- Education – High school diploma/GED.
- Controls Programming for coil machines experience or PLC knowledge.
- 2 years of experience as a maintenance mechanic or in a similar role.
- Trade or vocational school graduation preferred.
- Understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques.
- Knowledge of mechanical machinery, hydraulics and pneumatics systems.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Basic electrical, basic welding and plumbing skills are required.
- Ability to fabricate parts for repairs and do machine upgrades is a plus.
- Ability to lift and manipulate heavy equipment.
- Good communication skills. Good English reading and writing skills.
