Staffing Solutions is Hiring a Litigation Paralegal Near Irvine, CA
Our client has an immediate need for a Business Litigation Legal Assistant/Paralegal to work with a law firm located in the city of Irvine. This is a full-time, DIRECT HIRE, position looking to hire as soon as possible.
STARTING PAY: $65,000-$85000.
Established and growing boutique law firm in Irvine seeks full-time, experienced business legal assistant/paralegal to support three litigation attorneys (partner and three associates).
Qualification & Responsibilities:
- Filings in State (75%) and Federal Court (25%);
- Calendaring - Litigation deadlines, reminders, etc.;
- Drafting Pleadings and Discovery (i.e. draft shells, proof read, cite check, perfect formatting, etc.);
- Proficient in Microsoft Word (especially Tables of Authorities and Tables of Contents for Motions);
- Knowledge of law/motion and discovery deadlines pursuant to the CCP and FRCP for Central District CA;
- Conducting Intakes with Potential Clients;
- Communicating with clients, setting up calls, and meetings;
- Light administrative work for partner; and
- Familiar with Clio & MyCase is a plus.
