Job Description
Production Control Assistant
Salary : $19 / hr.
Location : Archbald, PA (fully on site)
Industry : Government / Defense
Employment Type : Long term contract with potential for permanent employment
Schedule : 1st shift, 4 / 10, 3 Day Weekends!
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Knowledge in and experience in different production systems environment
- SAP experience
- Microsoft Office Suite experience, specifically Excel highly preferred
Responsibilities :
- Sort, post, and file such paperwork as inventory records, production schedules, and other production control data.
- Keep records of number of units shipped and number of jobs in production.
- Estimate and log production rate and time expenditure of the department.
- May prepare shop orders indicating such factors as style, size, quantity, and priority.
- May review stock records, consumption figures, and detail schedules to determine stock status against program requirements.
- May prepare input forms for automated data processing system and may operate personal computer equipment.
- Performs other clerical tasks relating to duties.
