The ideal AudiologistAssistant candidate isdependable, ready to learn, and enthusiastic about assisting people withhearing loss.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Audiologist in providing audiological services.
• Performing basic "clean and checks" and repairs ormaintenance on hearing aids
• Changing or cleaning tubing, domes, wax guards, battery doors,microphone covers, and windscreens.
• Troubleshooting hearing aid problems
• Maintaining inventory and ordering supplies and equipment.
• Counseling patients on care and use of their devices.
• Assisting with clerical and administrative responsibilities,including greeting patients, answering phones, and verifying insurance benefits

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (bachelor's degree preferred)
• Experience working in a Medical Practice (Medical Assistant, Dental Assistant preferred)
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to learn quickly, multi-task, and collaborate with others.
• Commitment to providing excellent patient care.
• Experience in Hearing Healthcare is a huge advantage.
