We are looking for Custodians to assist with the preparation of the arena for these events. The right candidates will be RELIABLE, DEDICATED, MOTIVATED, WORK WELL WITH OTHERS, TAKE INSTRUCTION and WORK INDEPENDENTLY.
These are Part Time and Full Time opportunities! Must be available to work nights, weekends, long shifts. Pay is DOE.
Custodial Summary
Responsible for the janitorial functions of the whole facility and set up requirements for events. Conducts general cleaning and upkeep of buildings, including restrooms, buffing, dusting and sweeping, mopping and vacuuming of floors. Washes windows, as well as clean-up of the facility during and after events. To set up for an event employee must move, lift, carry, push, pull, place objects within 10-50 lbs. and follow all COVID safety practices. Organize and properly store all equipment and supplies assigned to individual.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and janitorial tasks as required or assigned. These include, but not limited to, sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, vacuuming, washing and waxing.
• Empty trash and wastebaskets. Transport trash and waste to proper disposal areas.
• Make minor repairs such as painting, patching and replacing light fixtures and filters, when applicable.
• Assist with event set-up, tear-down and clean-up.
• Clean restrooms and replenish supplies.
• Work extended and/or irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays, as needed.
• Positive, customer service oriented attitude at all times.
• Maintains proper grooming and dress code standards.
• Work ethic encourages strong urgency and quality in a team environment.
• Ability to work with other staff members in the facility.
• Ability to undertake and complete multiple tasks.

• Use machine, supplies and equipment used to clean the facility.
• Meet the physical demands of the job in order to mop, sweep, buff, dust and climb.
• Perform heavy lifting at times.

Other Qualifications
This position requires simultaneously outdoor exposure to all weather conditions, work can be repetitive and physically demanding, frequently walking for a large amount of time, requiring frequent bending, kneeling and lifting. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move heavy objects from 10- 50lbs. Requires ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays in addition to normal business hours.
