Staffing Connections is Hiring an EVS - Environmental Services Technician Near Chicago, IL
Staffing Connection Inc. is currently working with a hospital in Chicago, IL that has immediate needs for EVS workers. These are 3 month assignments with potential to be extended. The shifts are Evenings: 3pm-11:30pm and Nights: 11pm-7:30am.
Requirements:
Requirements:
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent
- MUST be up to date on all immunizations and have Covid and Flu vaccinations
Experience:
- Experienced with cleaning methods and techniques, equipment, tools and supplies. Infection control, time management and teamwork is crucial.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning duties in a hospital or commercial setting
- Clean and sanitize patient rooms, bathrooms, and common areas
- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and equipment
- Vacuum and mop floors
- Empty trash and replace liners
- Restock supplies in restrooms and other areas as needed
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
- Use cleaning equipment and chemicals in a safe and responsible manner
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor
