Job Summary: Join our dynamic team as an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) at a reputable skilled nursing facility near Kansas City, KS. We are seeking an experienced and compassionate ADON to support the Director of Nursing in providing exceptional care to our residents. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and advancement within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to oversee the clinical operations of the skilled nursing facility.
• Supervise and mentor nursing staff, including registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and certified nursing assistants.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular assessments of resident needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care that meets the physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs of residents.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of care and resident satisfaction.
• Assist in the recruitment, training, and evaluation of nursing staff.
• Serve as a resource and advocate for residents and their families, addressing any concerns or issues in a timely and compassionate manner.

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Kansas or compact/ multi-state.
• Minimum of 2-4 years of nursing experience, with at least 2-4 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Strong understanding of nursing best practices and regulatory requirements in long-term care settings.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Commitment to providing resident-centered care with compassion and empathy.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
