Position Overview: We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and precision. This role is crucial in maintaining our reputation for excellence and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform quality inspections on machined components using precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and CMMs.
  • Conduct first-article inspections to verify conformance to engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Monitor manufacturing processes to identify and address any quality issues or deviations from standards.
  • Document inspection results accurately and maintain comprehensive records.
  • Collaborate with production teams to implement corrective actions and prevent recurrence of quality issues.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and protocols.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or certification is a plus.
  • Previous experience in quality assurance or inspection, preferably in a CNC machining environment.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Familiarity with precision measurement tools and techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 or other quality management systems is desirable.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
