Our client is on the lookout for Software Engineers who are eager to advance their skills and confront the most daunting challenges within the US Government's operations, specifically in one of the most dynamic areas of the mission.

In this pivotal role, you're poised to become the master of the "Bear" necessities! As a Software Engineer, you'll collaborate with System and Software Engineers to design and craft custom Kubernetes operators for our distinctive BEARHYDE CCE (Corporate Data Compliance Service).

You'll have the opportunity to engage with cutting-edge systems, potentially encompassing processing-intensive analytics, groundbreaking algorithm development, handling vast datasets, real-time systems, business management information systems, and integrating data repositories, transport services, as well as application and systems development and monitoring. These contributions are indispensable to the success of our clients and the broader mission.

Required Skills

• Experience using the Linux CLI
• Scripting using Bash/Python
• Developing with Java in a Linux environment
• Experience with the SQL such as PostgreSQL
• Experience with NoSQL databases e.g., Elasticsearch, MongoDB
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, containerd
• Familiar with Helm Charts and Kubernetes operators to automate lifecycle management of complex applications
• Experience with Source Control Systems such as Git

Position Desired Skills

• Familiar with container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes
• Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite including Jira and Confluence
• Familiar with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools such as GitLab CI and Jenkins

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
• (3) years’ experience as a Software Engineer
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline
