Job Description - Title: Employee Health, RN
*Must be willing to float between several Phoenix clinic*

Position Summary: This position will serve as a human link between the organization and its employees, promoting health resources and vaccination services. The RN will perform Employee Health duties in accordance to the employee communicable disease policy. Those duties include education of the clinic group policy to new and established employees. They will assess, coordinate care, collaborate with outside Employee Health Vendor and follow up with Employees who experience a work-related injury, illness, and exposure until the employee is able to return to work without restrictions.

Primary Responsibilities:

The goal of this position is to ensure employee health standards are met throughout the organization.

To achieve this goal the Employee Health, RN will:

  • Demonstrate and apply knowledge of the philosophy/principles of comprehensive case management, patient-centered care, culturally sensitive care coordination and management toward all staff
  • Assure policies and procedures address employee health needs.
  • Build and promote partnerships across the organization to ensure employee health is recognized with the same importance as the patients we serve.
  • Ensure that all employees are in compliance with Employee Health policy.
  • Educate new employees prior to and during the orientation process about the employee health

requirements and workplace safety practices.

  • Monitor the completion of new employee health requirements and employee health records.
  • Coordination of annual influenzas vaccinations and tuberculosis testing.
  • Any relevant collection, analysis and reporting of employee health information.
  • Work with our HRIS team to ensure proper filing and maintenance of employee health records.
  • Assess, coordinate care with outside Employee Health Vendor, of all employees work related injury, illness, or exposure until the employee can return to work without restrictions.

The Employee Health, RN will:

  • Act as the liaison between the clinic group and its employees to streamline operations, improve communications and generally ensure that all healthcare questions or concerns by employees are addressed.
  • Support in planning, implementation and monitoring of immunization compliance activities to ensure employee coverage.
  • Administer, document, and track all employee health vaccinations.
  • Serve as a point of contact and an advocate for employee health, connecting employees with healthcare services as needed.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and employee confidentiality.
  • Engage in professional development activities to keep abreast of case management practices and patient engagement strategies.
  • Travel to each clinic to perform essential and additional duties as required
  • Develop a program for Employee related injury, illness and exposure follow up

Qualifications:

1. RN license in good standing

2. 3-5 years of experience

3. Experience in case management, disease management, Employee Health preferred

4. Computer skills including excel, word, and PowerPoint

5. Organized and resourceful self-starter; strong ability to work in a team

6. Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills

7. Valid AZ Driver’s License, as this position will require frequent travel between clinics.
