Requirements
- The requirements are: At least one year (12 months) of experience as a Med Tech.
- Certificate to work as a medical technician.
- Advanced knowledge of biology and chemistry.
- Proven experience working with various medical equipment and tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Outstanding presentation and analytical abilities.
- Collecting and preparing blood, urine, and tissue samples for analysis.
- Examining collected samples and identifying any cell abnormalities.
- Maintaining laboratory inventory levels and, if necessary, placing orders for new supplies.
- Preparing detailed reports about your test results and findings.
- Documenting and reviewing the tested data.
- Ensuring that all tissue samples are prepped for examination.
- Collaborating with pathologists and other medical specialists to determine the correct diagnosis if cell abnormalities are discovered.
- Maintaining a safe and clean working environment by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
- Presenting test results to physicians, researchers, and/or patients.
