Payrate: $22 /hour
Location: Ankeny, Iowa
Approved Duration: 12 months
Accessibility: Onsite
Shift Days: Monday – Friday
Shift Hours: 7AM – 3:30PM
Job Title: Experimental Parts Procurement Coordinator
Description: Candidates for the Experimental Parts Procurement Coordinatorrole will be in charge of coordinating for multiple departments the procuring, expediting, producing, and delivering material on time; which also Includes managing the movement of rejected material to source. In addition, candidates will recommend procedures for specific situations that will maintain inventory accuracy and management. They will also be responsible to find and correct major root cause(s) of material shortages.
Primary role(s):
  • Create and edit manufacturing routings
  • Generate programs for laser operations
  • Review manufactured part prints
  • Check production inventory and forecasted inventories
  • Transfer stock between departments
  • Communicate with other departments about material transfers
  • Communicate with supply management on purchased parts and stock availability
  • Update daily and weekly reports using Excell and other MS office tools
  • Occasionally draw and model simple parts for shop
  • Troubleshoot part requests from engineers
  • Troubleshoot laser programs and manufacturing routings
Required Skills/Knowledge/Relevant Work Experience:
  • MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • 2-year degree in Pre-Engineering, Manufacturing/Engineering Tech, Computer-Aided Drafting or related (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Organized and great communication skills
  • Detail Oriented
  • Reading 2D drawing/prints
  • CREO and AutoCAD Experience
Desired Skills/Knowledge/Relevant Work Experience:
  • 4-year degree
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Sheet metal and other fabrication knowledge
  • SAP experience
  • Fluent and comfortable with computers
