Staff Boom is Hiring an Onboarding Specialist Near Anaheim, CA

Staff Boom is an outsourcing company based out of Anaheim, California with locations abroad in the countries of the Philippines and Peru. At Staff Boom we specialize in customized staffing and consulting solutions for medium to large sized businesses with heavy emphasis on the insurance industry including insurance retailers, wholesalers, and carriers. We provide outsourcing services in our remote facilities; these services include Insurance Back Office, Accounting/Finance, Customer Service, Lead Generation, Data Entry, IT, Marketing, and Legal Support Services among others.

Staff Boom’s Operations Team is looking for an energetic and organized Onboarding Specialist to onboard our newly signed partners. This position requires a professional with project management or operational experience. Effective communication skills are vital as this position interacts and coordinates with every department within Staff Boom to provide a streamlined and efficient onboarding process. We work with our domestic and remote staff located in the Philippines and Peru, to facilitate strong and productive long-term working partnerships with our partners.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Insurance industry background and experience (Preferred)
  • Bilingual in Spanish or Tagalog is not required but would be an asset
  • Excellent communication skills: written and verbal
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills required
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and organized
  • Collaborative team player
  • Experience developing training material and conducting in person and online training sessions
  • Strong technical skills that allow one to work with different software programs and agency management systems quickly. The ability to learn new programs and technologies as needed and develop training material pertaining to them
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Experience with web-based training development a plus but not required

Key activities/Responsibilities

  • Work with our Sales and Operations departments to conduct client needs assessments, develop curricula, and training timelines to address our client needs accordingly
  • Support and coordinate with the domestic and international operations team to effectively manage new client onboardings
  • Coordinate, develop, and facilitate delivery of instructor-led training courses
  • Work with subject matter experts to develop training material and develop onboarding timelines accordingly
  • Successfully onboard clients within a 5-6 week timeframe
  • Document and reengineer processes across various systems and platforms for efficiencies
  • Analyze data and identify trends to make recommendation for improvements
  • Act as an operational liaison for the staff, functional client teams, and other departments as necessary during the onboarding process
  • Ensure that services provided meet customer expectations and comply with industry standards

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Preferred)
  • Previous employment or experience in the insurance industry (Preferred)
  • Previous employment or experience with Training and Development a plus but not required
  • Previous experience with project management
