The Ithaca College School of Humanities and Sciences invites applications for a temporary, full time, 9-month teaching position in Architectural Studies, beginning on August 16, 2024. The successful candidate will teach six courses (24 credits). This includes the introductory world history course Architecture Across Cultures, as well as intermediate architectural history/theory courses in areas consistent with their expertise. Candidates who can offer courses addressing pre-1800 material are especially encouraged to apply. 

Qualifications: A PhD in architecture or closely related field (ABD accepted) or post-professional degree in architecture is preferred. A master’s degree in architecture, architectural history, or related field will be considered. Candidates who have college-level teaching experience are preferred.
