StackCommerce is Hiring a Remote Director of Product and Tech

The Role:

BrandCycle is looking to hire a Director of Product & Tech for a 100% remote position. This individual will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction for the product and engineering teams. The role will oversee the development and execution of technology strategies, ensuring that the products and systems are innovative, efficient, and aligned with the overarching business objectives.

What You'll Do:

  • Technology Strategy: Develop and communicate a clear technology vision and strategy that aligns with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage the technology and engineering teams, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.
  • Innovation: Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the technology teams. Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends.
  • Product Development: Oversee the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from concept and design to delivery. Ensure that our products meet customer needs and expectations.
  • Technical Architecture: Define and maintain the technical architecture of our systems, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments, including product management, marketing, sales, and customer support, to ensure that technology initiatives align with the company's overall strategy.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance on complex projects and challenges. Help teams overcome technical obstacles and make informed decisions.

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field 
  • MBA Preferred 
  • 10 years work experience as a product manager or engineering manager 
  • Experience in ad-tech, affiliate marketing industry a plus 
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage cross-functional technology teams.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

What to Expect:

  • Intro Call: You’ll hop on a quick call with the hiring manager so we can get to know you better — and you can learn a little more about the role. 
  • Remote-Team Interview: You’ll be meeting with 2-3 team members on a video call. This is your chance to ask questions and see who this role interacts with on a daily basis.
  • Final Video Call: This is a great opportunity to get to know one of our senior executives over video.

Compensation:

Our overall compensation and rewards package includes base pay, bonus or commission, and a variety of benefits. Base pay is determined within a range that allows you the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The anticipated annualized salary range for this role is $225,000- $250,000 (this range may be modified in the future based on changing market conditions). Your initial base pay will be determined based on several factors, including demonstrated skills, relevant education or training, experience, qualifications, travel requirements, and job location.
