About the Team:

The Execution Team is responsible for building and improving campaign editors that are the most important parts of the platform to help clients create new campaigns and tie all aspects of their bidding strategy together. The team consistently expands campaign channels and provides customers with more strategies in their campaigns. We also manage StackAdapt public GraphQL API which allows for programmatic campaign execution.

StackAdapt is a Remote First company, we are open to candidates located anywhere in North America for this position.

What you'll be doing:

• Leading a small high performance team (3-5 full-stack engineers) that builds solutions to help customers create and manage campaign execution workflow.
•  Remains hands-on as an engineer to implement projects, participate in code review and perform system design. 
• Hire and mentor a new team of full-stack engineers across different levels of seniority
• Work closely with Product Managers and Designers to ensure requirements and priorities align
• Promote software development best-practices and conduct rigorous code reviews
• Plan ahead and architect scalable web APIs, component library and backend systems
• Balance and prioritize projects to maximize efficiency and ensure company objectives are achieved

• At least 5 years experience of software development in web technologies and architecting scalable systems in a successful high-growth technology company
• At least 1 years of leadership experience, including tech and people management
• In-depth frontend experience with JavaScript or Typescript, React, Redux
• API knowledge in GraphQL or REST is required.
• Extensive expertise in full-stack frameworks, including Ruby on Rails(preferred), Django, Java Spring Boot, and more.
• A strong understanding of computer science fundamentals (we have not forgotten our basics!) - data structures, system design, cloud computing, full-stack development etc.
