Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Cloud Services Lead IV in Glen Burnie, MD. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: The Cloud Services Lead IV installs, configures, manages, and upgrades operating systems in the cloud environments, including cloud server configurations, patches, and troubleshooting. They assist with and resolve system issues, and monitor, document, and maintain approved system infrastructure configurations and network security for operability. They monitor and analyze capabilities and performance of the systems; comparing, evaluating, and implementing new technologies; and integrating systems into the computing environment. They assist in developing system security strategies, policies, and procedures, and assist the Chief Engineer in overall cloud architecture, selection of cloud technology, and strategies for improvement of service delivery. The Cloud Services Lead IV is an SME working in an advisory capacity as well as being hands-on with cloud computing systems. The Cloud Systems Lead IV supervises and mentors subordinate projects and Team ManTech staff. Minimum Qualifications: 12 years of related experience and Bachelor’s degree in a related area OR 14 years' of experience and Associate's degree OR 16 years’ experience and HS degree A candidate holding a relevant master’s degree may be granted 2 years’ experience credit for that extra education. A candidate holding a relevant PhD degree may be granted 4 years’ experience credit for that extra education. Desired Qualifications: AWS and/or Azure cloud certification. Security Clearance Requirements: Current Top-Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility Physical Requirements: Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%. Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer. Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. For all positions requiring access to technology/software source code that is subject to export control laws, employment with the company is contingent on either verifying U.S.-person status or obtaining any necessary license. The applicant will be required to answer certain questions for export control purposes, and that information will be reviewed by compliance personnel to ensure compliance with federal law.
