We are seeking a skilled Electronic Health Record (EHR) Systems Analyst to join our healthcare technology team. The EHR Systems Analyst will play a critical role in the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of electronic health record systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of healthcare workflows, data management, and technology systems. This role requires excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• EHR Implementation: Lead or assist in the implementation of new electronic health record systems, including system configuration, data migration, and integration with existing systems.
• System Maintenance: Ensure the ongoing functionality and stability of EHR systems through routine maintenance activities, including software updates, troubleshooting, and performance monitoring.
• Workflow Analysis: Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to analyze current workflows and identify opportunities for optimization through EHR system enhancements.
• User Training and Support: Develop and deliver training materials for EHR system users, provide ongoing support, and serve as a point of contact for user inquiries and issues.
• Data Management: Oversee the organization, integrity, and security of electronic health record data, including data governance, privacy, and compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA).
• Reporting and Analytics: Generate and analyze reports from EHR systems to support decision-making processes, quality improvement initiatives, and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Vendor Management: Interface with EHR system vendors to report issues, request enhancements, and stay informed about product updates and new features.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data entered into EHR systems.
• Project Management: Manage EHR-related projects, including scope definition, resource allocation, timeline management, and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare informatics, computer science, information systems, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Prior experience working with electronic health record systems, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and identify solutions to technical issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency in system configuration, database management, and software troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards, including HIPAA, HITECH, and Meaningful Use.
• Project management experience, including the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Health Data Analyst, Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems) are a plus.

Pay: $45,892.79 - $55,268.73 per year
