Responsibilities:
- Support lead PK teacher to teach age-appropriate lesson plans and curriculum for preschool children
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through engaging activities
- Collaborate with parents and lead teacher to ensure open communication and involvement in their child's education
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
- Manage classroom behavior and promote positive discipline techniques
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom and engage students in learning activities
- Understanding of special education needs and ability to adapt instruction accordingly
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with young children
