St. Vincent de Paul Orlando Thrift Stores in Clermont, FL is looking for a Delivery Driver Assist to join our Driver team. We are located at 601 E Hwy 50, Clermont, FL 34711.

• We are seeking qualified Delivery Driver Assistant to become a part of our team! You will impact daily operations and work with others to get tasks completed effectively and efficiently. This job involves a lot of lifting, moving and repetitive movement.

You are loading and unloading donated items for a period of up to 8 hours.

This position could lead into a Delivery Driver position. Clean driving background required.

Responsibilities

*Make furniture deliveries to customers. *Set up furniture, document any issues. *Loading/Unloading of trucks. *Follow directions and safety protocols. *Pick items for delivery. *Must be able to lift 50l# unassisted. *Responsible for safety inspection on trucks. *Keep needed supplies stocked in truck. *Contacting recipients of deliveries prior to delivery.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in deliveries, driving experience a plus
• Works well under pressure
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Follows direction
• A desire to succeed, with opportunities for advancement

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Sundays. Compensation is $12.00 - $13.00/hour.
