The Role

• Maintain oversight of all accounting matters ensuring strong organisational discipline and controls over the general ledger and other accounting records are being monitored and maintained effectively;
• Statutory reporting for all businesses including but not limited ABS, BAS, IAS, FBT, annual financial statements, tax returns, payroll tax etc.
• Attend to all tax compliance responsibilities of the businesses as well as working with external advisors on tax planning processes and opportunities;
• Management of the AP and AR functions
• Delivery of end to end payroll services ensuring compliance and are consistent with contracts, salary bands and/or award
• Management and analysis of insurances
• Property management reporting and analysis
• Champion process and procedure improvements across AP, AR, payroll and tax functions
• Rollout business initiatives/strategies from finance function

• A results and data driven mindset, a self-starter that is excellent at multitasking
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Must be able to work and perform under pressure
