Summary
As a member of the Dean’s Leadership Team, the Assistant Dean for Career Development provides leadership, management, and directs student and alumni services in the area of career services. The Assistant Dean is a high-profile position, representing St. Thomas University College of Law with important external constituencies including local, regional, and national legal communities, prospective students, potential employers, alumni and the public. This will include developing and implementing targeted outreach and engagement strategies to facilitate quality employment opportunities for graduates of STU Law. The Assistant Dean is responsible for the overall administration and organization of the College of Law's Office for Career Development. The Assistant Dean must stay apprised of legal career trends and the evolving job market and develop new career and professional development initiatives.
