Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Fifth Grade Teacher to join our team beginning in the 2024-2025 school year. As an Elementary School Teacher, you will be responsible for educating and guiding young students in their academic and personal development. Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that align with the curriculum
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback
- Develop individualized learning plans for students with diverse needs
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote a respectful classroom environment
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
- Utilize library services and resources to enhance learning experiences
- Provide early intervention support for students who require additional assistance
- Foster a love for learning through creative and interactive teaching methods
- Serve as a mentor and role model for students

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Valid teaching certification or license or working towards certification
- Proven experience working with elementary school-aged children
- Strong knowledge of subject matter, particularly in Math and Literacy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to effectively plan, organize, and manage classroom activities
- Experience in behavior management techniques
- Familiarity with early intervention strategies
