St. Peter's Health Partners Medical Associates seeks to recruit a full-time Nurse Practitioner to join the Ellis Hospital Neuroscience inpatient team. New or recent grads, are encouraged to apply. Individuals with interest or experience in Neuroscience a plus!

About the Program:

Ellis Neurology offers comprehensive care for neurological conditions including stroke, epilepsy, back pain, brain tumors, dementia and movement disorders, delivered through our inpatient and outpatient programs. Ellis is a New York State designated Primary Stroke Center and is nationally recognized for outstanding stroke care. For five consecutive years, Ellis has received the Gold/Gold Plus Performance Achievement Award from the American Stroke Association for the quick response and high quality of care provided to stroke patients.

Position Details:

• Admitting patients that require neurology admission;
• The NP is also responsible, under the supervision of the attending physician, for diagnostic and therapeutic treatment throughout the patient’s hospital course;
• Diagnostic procedures include but are not limited to lumbar puncture and lumbar drain insertion;
• The NP has inpatient responsibilities and no outpatient or clinic patients;
• Overnight in-house call is required.
