Summary

St. Paul Christian School (a preschool in Westport, CT) is looking for two energetic Assistant Teachers for our Three's and Four's classes. Responsibilities and Duties

• Maintain constant supervision of children in your care.
• Provide a safe, loving, and nurturing environment for children.
• Integrate Biblical principles into learning.
• Assist lead teacher in teaching, setting-up and cleaning-up activities on a daily basis.
• Maintain a positive and continuous communication with administrators and parents.
• Follow policies and procedures of St. Paul Christian School and St. Paul Lutheran Church.

Qualifications and Skills

• A CDA (Child Development Associate) degree or at least 12 college credits in early childhood education, child development, elementary education, or early childhood special education.
• At least one year of experience working with children in a classroom setting.
• Christian who attends church on a regular basis.
• Ability to work as a team player with lead teacher and administrators.
• Happy and nurturing attitude towards children.
• Physically, mentally, and occupationally capable of performing assigned tasks required to work with young children.
