Front Desk Patient Registration Representative

St. Michael's Elite Hospital, located at the corner of Hwy 6 and the Southwest Freeway in Sugar Land, Texas, is looking for qualified Front Desk Patient Registration Representatives who can deliver Best-In-Class customer service to patients of all ages with various emergency and medical needs.

We are looking for individuals who can work Full Time to cover Day shifts and to be available for weekday and weekend shifts when needed.

Job Duties and Responsibilities will include but are not limited to :

• Registering and checking-in patients
• Verifying insurance
• Collecting payments
• Answering phones
• Entering patient data into an EMR system
• Keeping the waiting area clean and the guest refreshment station fully stocked
• Filing patient charts

• Minimum of 2 years of experience performing patient registration, preferably in an ER setting
• Extensive experience using an EMR (preferably Centricity)
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Experience with complex phone systems
• High school diploma or equivalent
