Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards
- Teach and instruct students in various subjects.
- Provide academic advising and support to students
- Utilize library services to enhance student learning
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Manage student behavior and maintain discipline in the classroom
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive educational experience
- Conduct parent-teacher conferences to discuss student progress
- Participate in professional development activities to stay current with educational trends and practices
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in education or a related field
- Valid teaching certification or license
- Experience working with special education students is a plus
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to effectively deliver public speaking engagements
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices
- Proficient in behavior management techniques
- Ability to provide tutoring and additional support to students as needed
- Familiarity with education administration processes and procedures
