Duties:
- Perform general custodial duties to maintain cleanliness and orderliness of assigned areas
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors
- Dust and wipe down surfaces, including desks, tables, and windowsills
- Clean and disinfect high-touch areas such as door handles and light switches
- Restock supplies in restrooms and other designated areas
- Operate buffing machines to maintain floor surfaces
- Performs grounds/landscaping maintenance including mowing and snow removal
- Conducts daily checks of outside grounds
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in custodial or janitorial work preferred
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment operation
- Basic knowledge of building trade skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
