St. Mary’s Ryken is Hiring an Assistant Director of Admissions Near Leonardtown, MD

The Assistant Director of Admissions responds to all people in accordance with the philosophies of the Xaverian Brothers Sponsored
Schools and St. Mary’s Ryken. This position directly reports to the Director of Admissions/Director of Enrollment Management. The person in this position will be responsible for assisting with all processes and events that support admission to St. Mary's Ryken. Some evening and weekend work will be required.

  • Proficiency in database management, Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspaces.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Admissions Office.
  • Assist in the promotion of good relationships and create networking opportunities with outside institutions or groups that could prove to be helpful in attracting quality students.
  • Represent the school at various gatherings and conferences related to admissions.
  • Oversee the implementation of the school's student information management system as it relates to Admissions.
  • Lead all phases of communication and documentation to prospective, accepted, and future students and families.
  • Coordinate school visits, tours of the campus, the Knight for a Day program, information sessions, and other admissions events as necessary.
  • Maintain Admissions Department budget.
  • Function autonomously, but with direction as required.
  • Responsible for other duties as assigned by the Director of Admissions/Director of Enrollment Management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • A minimum of five years working experience in a professional office setting.
  • Experience working in an educational setting is preferred, but not required.

Salary commensurate with experience. This position is open until filled.
