St Mary’s Manor is seeking a dedicated Activity Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about enhancing the quality of life for our residents through engaging and meaningful activities. This is a part time day shift position, M-F from 1pm to 4pm, No Holidays, and weekends if needed

Duties:
- Plan, organize, and implement a variety of recreational activities for residents
- Conduct assessments to determine individual resident needs and preferences
- Collaborate with staff to ensure activities meet the physical, emotional, and social needs of residents
- Maintain accurate records of resident participation and progress
- Coordinate outings, events, and special programs
- Provide support and assistance during activities as needed

Experience:
- Experience in caregiving or related field
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and staff
- Knowledge of aging issues counseling and dementia care
- Proficiency in schedule management and event planning
- Understanding of ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) and assisted living environments
- Familiarity with recreational therapy techniques

Experience in Assisted Living for seniors preferred.

Must have a TB skin test completed within 90 days of hire.

Must have CBRF certificates in Fire Safety, First Aid and Standard Precaution, prior to hire.
