I. Position Summary: Responsible for obtaining quality blood specimens by venipuncture and microtechniques with the least possible discomfort. The phlebotomist serves as the laboratory’s representative to the patient and must deliver care in a positive and caring manner.

II. Position Requirements:

A: Licensure/Certification/Registration: None required

B. Education: High School Diploma or GED
