Position Summary

The mission of the Catholic Archdiocese of Washington is to spread the light of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the world. In the faithful pursuit of this mission, St. Mary of the Mills Catholic School is seeking a bi-lingual front desk receptionist. This position is a ten month position with full time hours.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide receptionist services for the school office
• Maintains a presence at the front desk during business hours.
• Provides general secretarial support for the administrative staff
• Performs related duties as required, necessary, or assigned.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Faithful to the Catholic Church and teachings.
• Excellent ability to communicate both orally and in writing
• Strong organizational skills
• Outstanding people skills
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred

Education and Experience:

• High School graduate
• Some college or business school training, a plus
• One to two years’ of receptionist experience

Work Environment

This job operates in an office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and filing cabinets. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour
