Job Summary and Qualifications

• Schedule: This position is part time. Monday-Friday 4 hours a day in the morning but can be flexible.

This is an entry level job for someone who is interested in getting into the Healthcare field. Oversee and manage the inventory and flow of beds and stretchers within the hospital. Take all requests for specialty beds; determine if need can be filled by internal inventory or rental is needed; take specialty bed to unit and remove standard bed to designated storage location; work with vendors to assure rental beds are returned as soon as they are no longer needed, to save on rental cost. Monitor wheelchair inventory; perform periodic wheelchair inspections for needed repairs; ensure adequate number of wheelchairs located at key entry points. Continual rounding on hospital units to ensure and adequate supply of oxygen and tank storage supply.

Position Requirements:

Education: High School Graduate preferred, interest in the medical field.
