Overview

As a Workforce Planning Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our workforce strategy through data-driven insights. You will be responsible for conducting in-depth analysis, developing forecasts, and providing insights that support effective decision-making and resource allocation. We are looking for an analytical thinker with a passion for workforce planning and a commitment to driving organizational success. You will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting workforce data to provide actionable recommendations that support our business objectives. This position requires a keen analytical mindset, strong attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough analysis of historical and current workforce data to identify trends, patterns, gaps, opportunities, and key insights.
  • Partner with our Digital and Analytics department to develop and maintain accurate workforce forecasting models to support short-term and long-term strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with HR, finance, Clinical Learning and Student Services, and other relevant departments to gather data and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Generate regular reports and dashboards to communicate workforce metrics, trends, and KPIs to leadership.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for optimizing workforce efficiency, productivity, and resource allocation.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in workforce planning procedures.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of workforce policies and initiatives based on data analysis.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in workforce planning and analytics.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelors degree or experience in lieu of degree.
  • Experience: 6 years relevant experience (workforce planning, analytics, or related field)
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or similar.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in data interpretation and reporting.
  • Previous HR experience and familiarity with HRIS (Human Resources Information System)
