The Opportunity:

We are hiring an RN for our Cardiac Critical Care Unit at our Saint Luke's Plaza location.

We are seeking a nurse who is a natural leader and will go above and beyond for their peers, patients and patients’ loved ones. We are looking for a nurse who always does the right thing and is dedicated to patient centered care.

The Shift:

PRN - Employees who have work commitments that are at minimum 3 shifts within a 6 week period. Employee must work one weekend shift within 6 weeks and 1 minor holiday

Night shift 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. 7 days per week

Schedules are written 8 – 10 weeks in advance

Responsibilities:

• In hospital setting, accountable for utilizing the nursing process.
• Responsible for performing patient care, delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff.
• Responsible for coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• This nurse demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies, rules, guidelines and procedures.
• Strong time management, teamwork, communication and multi-tasking skills are important to be successful in this position.

Minimum 2 years Critical Care or ER RN experience strongly preferred
