Overview

St. Luke’s Health System in Meridian is seeking a Pharmacy Manager to join our Inpatient Pharmacy team.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day oversight of the pharmacy team
• Provide leadership, guidance, counseling and continuing education to pharmacy team. Select, develop, coach, mentor, and assess performance of staff
• Assists in the development and administration of departmental policies and procedures
• Develop and implement quality assurance standards, performance improvement activities
• May function as a pharmacist in the daily operation of the pharmacy, providing clinical and dispensing functions in accordance with needs of the department
• Serve as clinical mentor and provide clinical pharmacy leadership to pharmacists in their daily patient care functions
• Assure compliance of pharmacy services with policy and regulatory agencies
• Develop, monitor and work effectively within established budget
• Lead within organizational structures to improve medication use outcomes through clinical pharmacy services, staffing deployment and technology
• Work closely with hospital leaders to optimize pharmacy services for patient care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary work teams
• Coordinate implementation of strategic goals, projects, and programs affecting the department.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

• Valid Idaho Pharmacist License
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience
  • MBA or Pharmacy Residency in lieu of two (2) years' experience
