Responsibilities

Emergency Department Nursing Expectations

  • Patience and focus to constantly monitor high acuity patients active ED
  • Proven ability to think and react quickly in critical situations 
  • Medication administration
  •  Emergency triage and assessment skills
  • Passion for excellence in delivering quality care

Required Skills:

  • Associates Degree in Nursing or Diploma.
  • One (1) or more years of nursing experience
  • Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Texas
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)(AHA) with skills demonstration
  • ACLS

Preferred Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
  • One (1) or more years of recent experience in an Acute Care ED setting
Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Texas
