Duties
- Greet and check-in patients upon arrival, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
- Schedule patient appointments
- Verify insurance coverage and assist patients with insurance-related questions
- Collect and process patient payments, including co-pays and deductibles
- Maintain patient records and update information as necessary
- Assist with administrative support tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience in an administrative or customer service role, preferably in a dental or medical office setting
- Proficiency in using phone systems and scheduling software
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Familiarity with dental office operations and terminology is a plus
