St. Louis Metro Electric Supply, Inc is Hiring a Remote Delivery Driver

Delivery Driver In this role you will: Transport materials between Metro's branch locations. Safely drive 26' box truck to transport materials within specified area on a set route; verify loads against shipping papers. Enter each delivery into system before leaving the warehouse; maintain truck log according to state and federal regulations. Determine best route for effective delivery of product that will satisfy other Metro branches expectations of a timely delivery; record delivery information; inspect truck equipment and supplies as required, and immediately report any deficiencies to ensure safe operation. Perform any and all physical requirements necessary to lift and move inventory around the warehouse, as well as load and unload trucks. Operate and maneuver warehouse equipment and any material(s) contained thereon in the manner consistent with the intended purpose of the equipment and the manufacturers’ instructions; follow all Company safety procedures. May perform Material Handler responsibilities when not engaged in primary responsibilities. Promote and maintain good customer relations; may promote new sales as opportunities arise. Take an active role in communicating customer feedback to Company management, including customer complaints, requests, returns, performance, competitive information, and potential opportunities. What you bring to the table: High school diploma or GED Class E license Large vehicle driving experience Forklift experience Work shift and hours: This is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position during normal business hours, Monday-Friday.
