The salary range reflected above is the normal hiring range for 2024. The full salary range, including longevity pay, is $31.44 - $45.26 per hour.
This position is part of the Civil Service Supervisory Unit Employees Collective Bargaining Agreement represented by the St. Louis County Employees Association.
Please note: Although the typical schedule for this position is Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. with a 37.5-hour work week, it does require some evening and weekend work.

Distinguishing Features of Work

An employee in this class is responsible for assisting in the preparation of and administering the Division’s finances and managing the Division’s customer service and information processing functions. Duties include supervising the work and providing support and administrative direction to assigned staff. The work is performed under the general direction of assigned supervisory staff.

Selection Process

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (PASS/FAIL):
  • Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in education, public administration, organizational management, or a related field AND three (3) years of full-time paid progressively responsible experience in education, administration, management, or a related field, at least one (1) year of which must have been in a lead work or supervisory capacity; OR equivalent education and/or experience as determined by the director of human resources.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
RATING SYSTEM - Supplemental Questions will be 100% of the scoring process:
Points will be awarded based on the applicants answers to supplemental questions 6-9.
Experience beyond ten years may be included on the application for purposes of meeting minimum qualifications or informing the hiring authority of your complete employment history.
