• Office Hours - 6:30am to 3pm, but working hours may vary
• Exempt/Salary Position
• Working Supervisor - Position will perform patient care in both EEG and EMG, as well as complete Supervisory tasks.

Overview

Missouri Baptist Medical Center, an acute care hospital in St. Louis County, offers a full continuum of medical and surgical services, including heart care, cancer, women and infants, breast health, gastrointestinal, orthopedic, stroke, therapy, wound and pain management services. The Missouri Baptist Medical Center Cardiac Testing department is a diagnostic testing center which focuses on identifying and evaluating cardiac disease processes. The department is comprised of RNs, cardiac sonographers, ECG techs, Nuclear Medicine technologists and administrative staff. The Cardiac Testing staff works in collaboration with Cardiologists to deliver high quality services to patients and their physicians.

Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

Supervises daily operations for the Sleep Lab and/or Neurodiagnostic department. Maintains standards of quality and oversees all technical functions. Coordinates, develops, implements and reviews department clinical policies and procedures. Develops, implements and evaluates new program offerings while also working to improve existing programs.

Responsibilities

• Manages individual(s) including but not limited to: hires, trains, assigns work, manages & evaluates performance, conducts professional development plans. Ensures that the productivity and actions of that group meet/support the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership.
• Develops and adheres to departmental staffing, revenue and/or expense budgets. Responds to changes in the business which may affect the ability to achieve the budget goals.
• Collaborates with physicians and other departments to ensure quality patient care.
• Assists in developing strategic goals for the department.
• Ensures the delivery of excellent patient care in a safe, clean environment following all external regulations and internal quality standards. Ensures the standard of proper documentation is implemented and maintained by department staff at all times.
• Plans, coordinates and supervises all clinical aspects of the sleep lab and/or neurodiagnostics.

• Associate's Degree

Experience

• 2-5 years

Supervisor Experience

• < 2 years
