St. Louis Covenant School in residential, picturesque Pinecrest, Florida is looking to hire a qualified and experienced Middle School Mathematics Teacher for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year that is passionate about math, who can help students learn and apply mathematical concepts, and is qualified to teach high school Algebra and general mathematics. This teacher will be required to plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program for middle school mathematics for grades 6-8. The Middle School Mathematics teacher performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami. Salary is commensurate with certification and years of experience.

Qualifications:

• Required: Bachelor’s degree in Math Education, master’s degree in mathematics preferred.
• Florida Department of Education Teacher certificate in Mathematics 5-9; temporary or professional required.
• Must be knowledgeable in all levels of middle school math.
• Teaching experience preferred.
• Excellent classroom management and program organizational skills, excellent attendance ethics, and high level of professionalism.
• Proficiency is needed to use digital books and interactive classroom technology such as MS Word, PowerPoint, Database, Spreadsheet management, and digital gradebooks.
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills, including clear speaking voice.
• Good spelling and grammar required.
• Fully committed, supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church.
• Knowledge of tenets of Catholic Church and parish structures.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
