We are seeking an On-Call Registered Nurse (RN) - 7 on 7 off to join our patient care team at St. Joseph Hospice in Hattiesburg, MS.

Qualifications:

• Current Mississippi RN licensure required;
• Current CPR Certification
• Valid Texas Driver’s license and car insurance
• Hospice experience required
• Computer skills and data entry experience; Good command of MS Office
• Compassionate RN with great time management skills

Job duties:

• Prioritize all incoming calls and make visits according to the needs of the patients and families.
• Initiates communication with patients/families, physicians and team members
• Perform after hour admits, deaths and crisis management calls
• Document all services provided in EMR/paper within 24 hours of visit
• Attend all educational opportunities, staff meetings and IDT (team meetings)
