 Job Overview

Responsible for the daily operation of the Nursing Department by managing all resources necessary to meet the patient needs, providing an environment conducive to employee growth , productivity and functions within the confines of regulatory requirements. Works as the designated on site hospital administrator after normal business hours. Responsible for the assessment of all requests for administrator on call contact during the evening/night shift. Functions collaboratively and in partnership with management to develop and implement short and long term goals of the Healthcare System.

Qualifications

• Work requires the knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree in Nursing or closely related field, Masters degree preferred and three to five years of work related experience and two years in a management role.
• Licensure required as a Registered Nurse by the State of New Jersey.
• Work requires analytical ability to collect information from diverse sources and apply professional principles in performing various analyses, and summarize the information and data in order to solve problems.
